Has 2 paper trays and a rear feed tray
Uses #252 Epson ink cartridges
I have the software installation CD
Firmware was never updated, so I've been able to use non-Epson ink
It was working great until last week, when it gave me a 000043 Error.
A quick search on this Epson error says:
"Epson error code 000043 typically indicates that there is an issue with the ink cartridge, such as it being incompatible, empty, or improperly installed. To resolve this, check the ink cartridge installation, clean the contacts, or replace it with a suitable cartridge."
I've used off-brand ink for years, and lately I've been using refillable ink cartridges. I guess all the sudden the printer decided it was done accepting non-Epson ink.
I've wanted to get an EcoTank printer for a while, so I bit the bullet and bought one instead of buying Epson brand ink and getting this printer back up and running.
It's been a great work-horse for me for 5+ years, and I hate to just throw it away, so I'm giving it to the first person who wants to come get it and put official Epson ink cartridges in it.
For less than $50 you can have a great wide-format printer/scanner.
