Compensation: $40 to $50 base / hour (but will pay more DOE - Depending on experience)
If you possess precision, efficiency, and the ability to run high-end, complex residential builds without hand-holding, your compensation will reflect it at $75/hour.

Established Bozeman-based residential building company is seeking skilled, reliable Independent Contractor Carpenters for high-end residential projects. We have consistent, full-time volume ready to start immediately. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship, show up on time, and run an organized business, we want to work with you.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this contract work, you must meet the following Montana regulatory and professional criteria:
Business Status: Must operate as an independent business entity (1099 basis).
Workers' Compensation: Must provide proof of an active Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate (ICEC) OR a valid, self-elected Workers' Compensation Insurance policy.
Transport: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Experience: Proven experience in residential carpentry (exterior trim or high-end interior finish work). Pay is directly tied to your skill level and autonomy on site.
