We’re hiring a Lead Floor Tech to perform floor care, supervise/train, and perform janitorial duties during evening shifts. This is a working supervisor role — you’ll run equipment, train team members, and ensure jobs are completed to standard. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and skilled (or willing to become skilled) in floor care work.
You’ll be trusted to help manage, train new hires, maintain quality control, and ensure customer satisfaction across multiple job sites.
Duties:
Floor Care (20–40%)
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment (auto scrubber, burnisher, extractor)
• Perform floor scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Set up and break down floor care jobs safely and efficiently
• Maintain equipment and supplies, report maintenance needs
Supervisory AND Janitorial Duties(40–60%)
• Train and coach new floor techs or janitorial team members
• Oversee nightly job flow to ensure completion and quality
• Communicate with management and report job status
• Keep team on schedule across multiple job sites
• Ensure safety protocols and checklists are followed
• Document and report issues, supply needs, or concerns to management
Requirements:
• 5:00 PM start time - Monday - Friday.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive pickup/cargo trailer
• Physical ability to lift 60+ lbs and be on feet entire shift
• Strong reliability and time management
• Previous floor care experience (buffing, waxing, scrubbing) OR ability to learn quickly and commit to skill development
• Prior experience as team lead, crew supervisor, or responsible solo worker
• Comfortable with light reporting and communicating with managers or clients
• Willingness to uphold company quality standards and enforce accountability
• Must pass background check (some client sites require it)
