This Survey Equipment Ensemble includes a transit with case, tripod, rod, 2 measuring tapes, and umbrella.
The 4 ½ - inch David White TR-300 Mountain transit by Path (serial #555485) is in very good shape and has been well cared for. The scope rotates a full 360 degrees in the vertical plane. Angles are read to 1-minute via vernier, and the instrument has a real magnetic compass! The 24x telescope optic is of good quality and has a built-in, removable sunshade. These are called mountain transits because they have most of the features of a full-sized transit in a lighter and more compact size. The instrument comes complete with hard yellow case with adjustable carrying strap, tool kit (spanner, brush, screw driver, adjusting pin, reading glass), dust cover, and plumb bob. See photo below for additional specs.
The hard yellow transit case measures 13 ¼” long X 8 ¾” wide X 7 ½ “ high.
