My general understanding is that this is a dryer that enables you to have "super dry" air. Common uses are labs, autobody paint shops, precision equipment. This dryer produces air that is considerably more dry than normal air dryers. Our plan is to sell this and buy a normal air dryer for our machine shop as this dryer is overkill for our needs. I'm told it consumes more energy, costs more to maintain and requiers higher pressures to operate than a "normal" dryer. This unit has a list price of $9,050 and is in good working order. The unit is in service at the moment and will need to be replace by our new unit. That said, we'll have to do a little coordination with the buyer to time delivery.
