This is a full-time position for technical support and repairs on computer hardware. Hours are somewhat flexible and would total between 32 to 40 hours a week depending on your preference.
Job Duties include though are not limited to.
The install, setup, patching, and testing of applications, hardware, and systems including troubleshooting and repair.
Notebook and Desktop repairs in a break/fix environment.
Supporting various other devices including multi-function devices, workgroup printers, and mobile devices.
Providing workstation and end-user support via chat, telephone, email, face-to-face, and remote software.
Assisting with networking in a Windows environment under supervision.
Requirements
Experience with Windows computers a must have. Technical School certification or experience at an IT Helpdesk, or in a computer, phone or electronics repair firm are a plus as are professional certifications (A+, Network +, Microsoft).
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to bend, lift and move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs. You must be able to use a ladder.
