North Pacific Trading is hiring a full-time retail manager in our Leader Creek Trading store. It is a smaller operation that sells traditional convenience store selections including fuel and has a busy morning espresso business. Seasonally, during the commercial fishing period it is an extremely busy shop and slows significantly in winter. Housing included is one bedroom cabin with Wi-Fi provided. Additionally, a company vehicle is available for use. The job requires the applicant be a minimum age of 21 to allow for tobacco sales and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
The annual salary is $65,000-$75,000 DOE along with the possibility of an annual bonus for achieving operational financial goals. North Pacific offers employees the option of participating in a company medical insurance program, 401k and free of charge participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan that is earned through time worked.
A hard-working motivated barista looking to learn additional skills may be a good candidate. While this role can be filled by a person of any age it may also be a great position for a student who can take classes remotely with summers off from academics.
