...This is the original Stage-Zero 6'-foot aluminum-alloy legacy slider from Dynamic Perception. It is blue #1030 anodized aluminum, with endcaps, and a sliding aluminum platform for an SLR-camera or video-camera weighing up to 15 pounds. It is Solid and Ultra-Rugged!
...The platform has holes for either 1/4x20 or 3/8th threaded bolts for mounting whatever rig you would want to put on here. It floats on replaceable nylon pads, and it is moved by a 6'-foot Kevlar-reinforced rubber belt with teeth. All the capstans spin very easily and smoothly, with bearings in the largest one.
...The platform is also equipped with a universal quick-attach/release motor-mount. All components can be disassembled quickly and easily to modify to your own personal needs and equipment. Allen wrench for adjustment attached...
..The rail includes two Induro PH10 Snap-In Quick Release Plates attached for Induro tripods with BH-2-M Ball Heads and HD-38M Pan Heads, each costing $15.95...This makes attaching the rail to tripods quick and easy, something important when working out in the field or on a job-site!...Also the extruded aluminum rail accepts T-nuts for attaching things like the quick-release plates, or whatever else you might want or need...( a T-nut can be seen in one of the pics of the underside of the rail )...
...This is the longest commercial slider out there...long enough for most any possible needs....
...SPECIFICATIONS:
Dimensions: the rail is 6'-foot long, 3" wide and 3/4" high...
...platform/cart is 10" long by 7.5" wide, and 4" high at motor-mount...
Note: ......Rail and cart are made of #1030 aluminum alloy...Knurled knobs are fitted to most of the adjustable components for easy control and use...All components are fully adjustable for variable positions...
...( the rail could be cut down to a shorter length...but, WHY?! )...
...in one photo you can see one end missing some anodizing...it was damaged in original shipping, but filed down for smoothness..it has no effect on durability or performance...just a small mild cosmetic flaw I wanted to mention....
Weight: the entire rail with the polyester carrying-case weighs approx 10.5 pounds....this thing is not light!
...the carrying-case is actually a High Sierra ski-bag, with 2/3rd zipper, two handles, and cinch-straps...*
...If you have a need for a looong slider rail to fit your time-lapse photography or videography projects, then this is an excellent one-of-a-kind tool to add to your creative arsenal...
...Just add a camera and support (tripods), an optional head to support the camera and you'll have everything you need to start shooting timelapse and video.
...It is all built solidly and with modification and customization in mind, and originally sold for $1,200.00...
...I am selling it along with the $52-buck ski-bag for only $549.00...a Great price for a tool that is longer than any other!
...Be the first kid on your block to own one!...
