Hot Carl here with another episode of Basses in Carl's Cozy Corner. Here's a very nice G&L L2000. I frickin' adore this bass but I just found another one that has the neck profile I like. So this one is hitting the dusty trail.
This bass has a 1 3/4" nut width and a 7.25" neck radius. Closer to a EBMM Stingray. It shows some players wear and has some buckle rash on the back. The G string was sticking in the nut, but I added a little pencil lead and now it moves freely with no issue! Electronics work perfectly and are noise free. No ski jump at the end of the neck. Comes with a G&L hard case in good shape. Weighs 9 to 9.2lbs on my crappy bathroom scale.
