This is an "imported"(Made in China) version of a Garrison acoustic guitar in very good shape and sounds wonderful.
Garrison Guitars was a high quality guitar manufacturer and as I was told, they were in Canada. Like Taylor Guitars in El Cajon, CA, in an effort to manufacture consistent guitars from quality materials, they incorporated the use of Computer controlled machines in as many of the processes as possible. That is until Gibson Guitars bought out the Garrison Guitar company only to utilize their equipment for their own guitar line. There's nothing wrong with this, in fact, IF true, it was very wise: buy the competitor out and use their improved methods. Why reinvent the wheel right?
Since I just moved from El Cajon, the home of Taylor Guitars to Bozeman, MT, the home of Gibson acoustic guitars. I'm sure someone reading this ad will either acknowledge, deny or set me straight on the Garrison story I stated above.
In any case, this is a very good quality instrument in need of a new home and at $125.00, it's easy on the wallet.
