Martel Construction is seeking hardworking Laborers to join our team for commercial and residential projects throughout the Bozeman and Big Sky markets. These high-profile projects offer the opportunity to work alongside experienced craftsmen on some of Montana’s most significant construction work. Laborers support a wide range of construction activities and may assist crews in concrete work, framing, heavy timber installation, interior finish work, material handling, site preparation, and general jobsite operations.
Responsibilities:
• Assist carpenters and field crews with daily construction activities
• Perform jobsite setup, cleanup, and material organization
• Load, unload, move, and stage construction materials and equipment
• Support concrete operations including forming, pouring, stripping, and cleanup
• Assist with framing, heavy timber, and interior finish work as directed
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to maintain project schedules and quality standards
• Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures
• Perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
Qualifications:
• Construction experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
