Precision Lawn & Landscape is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Landscape Bed Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a locally owned and fast-growing landscape company serving the Gallatin Valley. We take pride in providing high-quality work and maintaining properties to a professional standard. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and is comfortable working independently.
POSITION SCHEDULE
This will most likely be a part-time position averaging approximately 20-25 hours per week. We offer flexibility in how those hours are scheduled. However, the selected applicant must establish and maintain a consistent, repeatable weekly schedule so our team knows exactly which days and times they will be working. Weekday availability and a 7:00 a.m. start time with the rest of the crew are preferred, but we are willing to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that fits their availability.
The employee will be expected to consistently fulfill the agreed-upon 20-25 hours each week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The majority of this position involves routine landscape bed maintenance at commercial properties that are typically serviced on a monthly schedule.
Responsibilities include:
-Hand pulling larger weeds
-Applying herbicide to small weeds
-Keeping landscape beds weed-free and presentable
-Removing litter, leaves, and other debris
-Pruning shrubs and ornamental plants as needed
-Deadheading flowers
-Monitoring the overall appearance of each property
-Seasonal spring and fall cleanups
-Mulch installation
-Shrub trimming
-Planting annuals and perennials
-Assisting with occasional one-time landscape cleanup projects
-Performing other landscape maintenance duties as assigned
This position requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and can recognize what needs to be done without being closely supervised.
QUALIFICATIONS
-At least one year of landscape bed maintenance experience is preferred
-Familiarity with horticulture, shrubs, flowers, and landscape plants is preferred
-Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
-Valid driver's license required
-Clean driving record required
-Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
-Must be dependable and punctual
-Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
-Strong attention to detail is required
-Positive attitude and good communication skills
