I’m currently seeking a property caretaking, house-sitting, or property management opportunity in or around the Bozeman area starting August 1st. While I’m open to a traditional rental arrangement if needed, my primary interest is finding a mutually beneficial caretaking arrangement where I can provide value in exchange for reduced housing costs.
I’m a 31-year-old business professional, entrepreneur, and medical school admit currently taking time to intentionally build my coaching and personal development business while discerning my next chapter professionally. I live a quiet, active lifestyle centered around health, personal growth, the outdoors, and meaningful work.
My current living situation is stable, yet possibly shifting. The property I’m presently caretaking at has an offer for purchase that is expected to either finalize or fall through by June 30th, so I’m simply being proactive and exploring future housing opportunities. If it finalizes, I’d have to be out by July 31st.
I do not smoke, have no pets, and maintain a clean, respectful lifestyle. Having grown up on a ranch, I’m comfortable caring for livestock, horses, and household pets, as well as assisting with gardening, fencing, snow removal, machinery operation, basic repairs, property inspections, groundskeeping, and general upkeep. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and attentive to details.
I’ve successfully entered into property caretaking arrangements on two previous occasions, including the property where I currently reside. In both situations, the arrangement provided peace of mind and reliable oversight for the property owner while creating a practical housing solution for me. Those experiences showed me how valuable the right caretaker can be for a property and how beneficial these arrangements can be for both parties.
While I’m fully capable of signing a conventional lease and have strong references, rental history, and credit, I would strongly prefer a caretaking or work-for-rent arrangement if the right opportunity exists. Whether that’s caring for animals, overseeing a property while an owner travels, helping maintain acreage, or serving as an on-site presence, I’m open to discussing creative solutions that make sense for everyone involved.
