Two 13-Year-Old Geldings for Sale (Sold Together Preferred) - $6,000 (Three Forks)

• Buckwheat – 13-year-old papered AQHA buckskin gelding
• Ed – 13-year-old grade gray gelding
Both were purchased from a ranch in Wyoming and were represented as ranch horses. I have seen photos of Ed saddled and videos of Buckwheat being ridden, but I have not personally ridden either horse.
Buckwheat is very sensitive and reactive, but with a soft, calm approach he does well during groundwork. He is intelligent and tries when handled correctly. He has a scar on his right front leg that I was told is cosmetic only and does not affect him.
Ed is more stubborn and can be pushy on the ground, especially with personal space, but he does make progress with consistent handling and time. He strongly dislikes dogs, deer, and small animals and will chase them — however, he could be a great protector for your heard! He is the first one to come up to the fence.
I truly believe that with the right experience, time, and tuning, both of these horses could be really great. They each have big personalities and a lot of potential for someone willing to put the work in.
💲 Asking $6,000 for the pair, but willing to consider reasonable offers. Just trying to recover what we paid. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to keep two pasture pets.
