I do this every year when my new pullets start laying to make room in the hen house and to guarantee an uninterrupted egg supply to the local restaurant.
Currently producing @50% ...30doz/week
Both years are laying equally as well, the older ones have gone thru their molt.
I am 9 m W of Livingston, up Cokedale off the Frontage rd. Hens are out all day and return to roost at dark.
I can catch and crate ahead or you can select after dark.
*Update 9/15...I need as many of these relocated ASAP.
I am being heavily predated . Please help if you have more secure setups.
