CJ is great with people and very well-behaved and polite with the hens. He’s too nice to be stew. You can pick him up and carry him around without fuss, or just hang out with him in the yard without worrying about being attacked. He likes to be involved in whatever you’re doing outside, and will try to come in the house with you if you leave the door open. I trust him to let me know when predators are around and I’ve found him sleeping outside in the snow with a hen who didn’t remember how to get in the coop at night. I would keep him if my bantam rooster didn’t spend all his time antagonizing CJ.
Transport is available to Livingston or three forks for a bit of gas money.
