Klondike is a gentle gelding that has been used all over the ranch. He rides around nice and with purpose ready for a job whenever. He’s the type that most people will get along with, he’s easy going but has enough life to enjoy doing anything on him. He picks up his correct leads, trots out smooth, will cover country all day. Cross creeks, ditches, downfall, hell go through brush etc. Not much seems to bother this guy.
He’s seen all types of terrain from steep rocky country to wide open desert. He’s seen many jobs including halterbrealing and working colts, leading pack horses, gathering horses, pasture roping horses and cattle, he’ll stand nice to tie off and doctor, will track up really well on both ends. He goes out alone with no fuss at all and is not barn or trailer sour. He has NEVER offered to buck even with time off. This horse is honest as a day is long, he’s light on his feet and neck reins nicely. He can truly go any direction from being a steady safe trail horse or join his siblings that have gone to the arena as rope and barrel horses. He could really excel as a breakaway horse.
