Sturdy hoist frame made from treated 4x4s and 2x4s. Holes for staking it into the ground. It's stable; I used it unstaked in the driveway for hanging wild game and a heavy punching bag. Then I put it in the yard for mounting/unmounting a big hitch platform.
Could disassemble and get $200 worth of treated lumber, but would rather see someone use this thing, it's really handy and can be placed anywhere.
Will need pickup bed or trailer to haul. I used to manhandle it myself but it's awkward and unwieldy; probably better to enlist a friend to load/unload.
I have an old-school manual chain-winch for another $50, or you could mount a modern one, like those used on boat trailers, at the base of the frame, and route the cable through the eye ring on top.
