J.W. Heist Steakhouse and Plonk Wine Bar are hiring a dependable morning kitchen steward / utility team member.
This is a physical support role and a strong entry point into professional restaurant work. Ideal for someone early in their hospitality career who wants to be part of a serious team.
Hours:
7:00am–2:00pm preferred (flexible)
Responsibilities:
• Receive and organize food deliveries
• Lift and move heavy product (50+ lbs)
• Maintain walk-ins and dry storage
• Clean and maintain wood-fired grills
• Wash and manage prep dishes
• General kitchen organization and support
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has strong work ethic and good character
• Shows up on time
• Works with energy and attention to detail
• Is interested in growing within the restaurant industry
This role supports two respected downtown kitchens and offers the chance to learn how professional operations run from the inside.
