2000 Subaru Forester for sale. Been in the family since new. The AWD works well, it gets great mileage and this thing does awesome on or off road. All season tires have very little wear, they were new 3-ish years ago and the car has not been driven much since. Also had a new windshield installed. Interior is in pretty great shape for the age, the exterior looks ok but is losing some clear coat on hood and roof. Starts right up and runs but does need a jump if its not driven for a period of time. A few issues- It has a check engine light on for a faulty intake manifold temperature sensor- the part is ordered and I will install when it arrives unless I sell it first. Full disclosure- it does need the coolant topped off occasionally, I'm not sure the cause or extent of this problem but it drives fine now. The car has 194,500 miles on it so obviously Im selling this thing as-is. Use it as a cheap backup AWD vehicle, or fix it up, or use it for parts. Everything else works as it should, except the drivers side door lock doesn't always work with the key. It has a key fob to unlock the doors so its never been an issue. It's a nice little car for the age but I don't have the room to store it any more. Asking $1,000 OBO. Possible trades considered- select hunting items, coins, fishing stuff, etc. the worst I can say is no. Thanks for looking.
