With a heavy heart, I am selling my beloved 87 WV Vanagon.
I purchased it about 9 years ago and invested a lot into it since.
In 2020 I had it converted to a remodeled 2.2 L Subaru engine, on which I put around 25.000 miles so far.
She's running great (even up the hill ;) ) and has never over heated.
There are more things which I had fixed or replaced, some of them recently, for which I have all the receipts.
I had a really great time with this van, I was even living in it for a while, but since I moved to Montana I need a more reliable daily driver for the winter.
I recently had it taken to my mechanic in Bozeman, because of a clicking sound I heard when driving which turned out to be that both the rare axels have play and need replacing, and it has a transmission cooler line leak.
Additionally the lower ball joint boot is blown on the passenger side and the upper ball joint boot on the drivers side.
The interior could use some tlc, since I renovated it myself when I purchased the van.
The van has been really great to me and I wish I had the space to store it and use it as camper during the warmer months but unfortunately that's not possible.
