If any of you have first hand knowledge of my dad Bill Gilbert please DM me if you are willing to share what you know about him. Dad grew up just outside of Manhattan with his parents Ira and Montana Gilbert and graduated Manhattan High in 1960. He was very active in the stock car racing scene of the late 1950's and 1960's racing with Leo Robbins, Harold Wilcoxson and Dewey Wiseman. He also worked at Bozeman Ford as a mechanic for several years before he became to ill to work. He passed away in 1984.
It's a bit of a stretch if there is anyone around who knew him really well back then since if he was alive he'd be 83 years old but thought posting this here would be worth a shot.
