condition: new
delivery available
A numbered set of 4x6 bordered photographs featuring the same images George Lucas reviewed almost fifty years ago during pre-production of "Star Wars: A New Hope" The prints are made from the original 35mm Ilford FP4 safety film strips containing photograph negatives that were taken in 1976 by Colin Sheffield to document the early prototype castings by famed prop designer, Andrew Ainsworth.

There is a total of 30 pictures in each set with side and frontal modeled views of a number of Star Wars costume helmets, including the stormtrooper, the TIE fighter pilot, and rebel fighter pilot. Many of the images have never been released in a public setting including the giant death squad commander helmets that never made it onto the screen. Almost impossible to find views of TIE pilot/ X-Wing pilot helmets from these early stages of development. The package is numbered (limited to 421 sets "TK421, why aren't you at your post?) and comes with COA. Set is not available elsewhere.

A fantastic addition to any collection for an American cinema buff, a Star Wars aficionado, or just someone who collects the unique and historical
