Up for sale is a pristine, deadstock pair of Red Wing 9060 Flat Box Beckmans. These were purchased as First Quality boots (no hole-punched tongues or "B" stamps) and are in 100% unworn condition. They have zero wear, zero creases, and have only been out of the box for inspection and photos. I am selling because the fit wasn't right.
This is the "Flat Box" edition, it features an unstructured toe. This provides a lower profile and a more comfortable, custom fit as the toe box naturally collapses and shapes to your foot—a feature highly coveted by Red Wing enthusiasts.
Why This Model is Highly Collectible
• Scarcity: The 9060 is a rare, limited-production model primarily destined for the Japanese market with only limited releases in the US. It is notoriously difficult to find in the US, especially in New-in-Box condition.
• "Tea-Core" Klondike Leather: This is not your standard black leather. The Black Klondike is a brown-base leather with a black top finish. As you wear them, the black surface scuffs away to reveal the rich brown tones underneath, creating the most famous "patina" in the heritage boot world.
