I am selling a 19-foot homemade aluminum boat with a low-hour Yamaha 115HP and trailer. The hull is a skupper deck (sealed flotation below the floor) design built with thick aluminum sheets, providing a robust and low-maintenance design. The boat comes with the following...
Trailer + new tires + spare
Yamaha 115 longshaft outboard (175 hours)
Spare engine keys
Marine VHF radio
AM/FM/AUX stereo
Webasto diesel heater
Washdown pump
Console steering
Large fuel tank with working gauge
Fish/depth finder
Soft bimini
This boat would be ideal for late- or early-season fishing, as it has a heater under the canvas. With the thick hull, this thing can be pulled up on any beach without worry.
This boat is a one-off, built in Canada to access a cabin via water near Revelstoke, BC. It was purchased by a non-profit and operated in the Churchill River estuary and nearshore Hudson Bay during the summer months for beluga whale tours. During use, the boat was pulled from the water each day and trailered to an indoor storage facility. During the winter, the boat was stored indoors.
When the boat was operated for tours, the 115HP was used alongside a kicker. The main engine propelled the boat to/from the boat launch, but the bulk of the tour was propelled via the kicker. This is the reason for the low hours on the 115. The kicker was removed (and attached to the new boat), but the mounts and the 2nd fuel connection remain for future use.
I trailered the boat from Thompson, MB, to Bozeman in March to refit. To prepare for the trip, a shop checked the trailer's wheel bearings, mounted and balanced new tires, and ensured the lights were functioning correctly. The boat and trailer have been stored indoors since its arrival.
The boat and trailer are registered in Montana, and I have clean titles in hand for both.
I am asking $20,000 (cashier's check/Venmo) or partial trade for a skid steer.
